You just have to love life sometimes! This summer has been a good ride for both my business and my health. I know I have not been all that disciplined to the 52DC forum (or my TNT diet) for that matter, but on the flip side, I have never had more energy to spend on whatever I may be doing at the time.
The heat and humidity here in Maine has really been a great payback for the 48 days of rain we lived through during the summer of 2009. Good year to be in the marine business. This has really kept me on my feet 10 hours a day. My calf’s are like rocks!
Early in July I had a conversation with my Cardiologist. I asked him about what my chances of to be more positively classified for life insurance. He flipped back through my file and said “Well…2 years ago you had a better then 75% chance to “expire” (love the term) within 90 days. Today you have the same mortality rate of any other 50 year old. I’d say your chances are pretty good.” “If you could get down to 190 pounds your numbers would be dam near perfect.”
My wife reminded me that he had not conferred with her!
Now if I can keep from getting hit by a bus!
I’m looking forward to this fall challenge, 190 pounds here I come.

Glad to see you posting to your Blog. Even happier that in today’s economy – someone is smiling.
Now – back on track – and a forced march to 190 and a healthier life.
