Thursday evening just after an hour-long walk with mother we stopped into the grocery store for a few midweek items, dog food etc…Drop an easy $80.00!
Bad situation too because Man, I was hungry!
At one point in our expedition I picked up a can of coffee turned around and there they were an innocent looking bag of Snyder’s Buffalo Wing Pretzel Bits, I knew this was bad news! …they looked soooo good!….
Again the left brain right brain thing kicks in, good battle going on too,
Righty’s got the bag in his hand and he’s walking further down the isle, off to find mother when Lefty chine’s in with “What the hell are you doing here!” “Put The Bag Back, Now!”
Righty hesitates, knows it’s not a good idea to piss off Lefty, soon he reverses direction walks ever so slowly and gently sets the bag back on the shelf so as not to damage the contents for the eventual purchaser.
Lefty; “Now back away and no one gets hurt!’
And that’s how the round ended.
Quick path through the checkout, home for a salad and few pieces of leftover steak. Went to bed satisfied and better for it.
